Mantis Speed is a stylish choice for you gamers looking to improve!

Razer is one of the leading manufacturers for gaming peripherals. They dish out a tone of new products and gadgets yearly.  One of the most important products of Razer is their mouse mats. The Razer Mantis is the matt of the day today, it has two version one is control and on the other version speed. Both versions hold many differences in terms of what you want out of a mouse mat!  For you aggressive gamers you will find yourself using the speed mat to your advantage. If you’re a bit more careful and calm you may find yourself better off using the control mat.  Let’s take a closer look to see what this beast can do!

Razer Mantis

The Razer mantis comes in well designed packaging, inside you will find the mouse mat as well as the usual leaflet of information which comes bog standard with most things these days!  But the main thing you will notice about the mouse mat is the stylish design on the front and back.  Something which will make your friends envious of your presence.

Now let’s get down to testing.  Most of you know my testing procedure. So for the first test I used this mouse pad while playing the latest games on the market. Counter-strike was the first game to have the mouse pads wrath, I also tested it with Unreal Tournament III, World of Warcraft and StarCraft: BroodWar. With all games I got perfect result with this cloth pad. The second test I compared both the control version with the speed version.  They both are cloth pads and both are equal in size, but Control is for low sensitivity and Speed is for high sensitivity. I compared them while I was playing Counter-Strike. With both muse pads I had a good results. But when you play with high sensitivity and use control it didn’t feel all that great. It’s okay but it’s so much better when using the speed version. As with the last test I used several mice like SteelSeries Ikari Laser, Razer Lachesis and Razer Copperhead. With each mouse, I had no particular problems,  which is nice, so it’s pretty much mouse friendly!

Razer Mantis

The Razer Mantis with its cloth covering and large size is the recommended choice for your gaming experience. If you are not someone to go with plastic pads then we highly suggest giving this mat a try as it will soon change your mind! Not only is it a sound idea but also the Razer Mantis has a good price of approximately 25 dollars, which isn’t very expensive for a mouse mat. So if you have a little bit of extra cash and your looking to treat yourself simply go and buy the Mantis mat and see how your gaming improves!

: Pros :

•  Big size
•  Cloth pad
•  Perfect for high sensitivity
